Title: Skrdlovice Atlas or Vladislav Urban....? ID = Jan Kotik for Skrdlovice

Hi,

Can some help me pin point this piece of Czech glass, is it a Skrdlovice Atlas or a Vladislav Urban piece, please excuse picture quality.

All thoughts appreciated.

Not Vladislav Urban at all but one from modification of Jan Kotik Skrdlovice piece 5503.

Thanks Jindrich, I thought it was probably not by Vladislav Urban, although recently being sold as a Vladislav Urban piece. Thanks for your confirmation, I was hoping you would pick this thread up.

Vladislav Urban (* 14.3. 1937)
designed predominantly pressed glass in 60ties (see M. Newhall s Sklo Union book).
Later he designed jewels with cut stones. He never designed in Skrdlovice.
