Title: 3 large scent bottles id please Art deco
Post by: Margi on May 01, 2010, 06:06:49 PM
Hi I have 3 large scent bottles of different forms but clearly by the same manufacturer.  Multi faceted with smooth polished bases.  No markings visible.  The Art Deco one has the puffer missing.  Does anyone recognise the manufacturer.  I was informed French but they didn't really know.

Hi

I don't recognise the pattern particularly

but you have there a scent bottle, a powder box and an atomiser - I think

That is the classic dressing table combination for central Europe most probably Czechoslovakia c1920-1950s

not a very usual combination for France

cheers

Mike

Thanks for your thoughts.  The nearest pattern wise I have found is here http://www.in-stijl.com/ C00477 although a decanter.  It is attributed to Ludwig Moser any more thoughts.
