I bought this tumbler (http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/10019/stennett1.jpg) yesterday. It looks exactly the same as the harlequin set illustrated on p.108 of 20th Century Factory Glass, described as designed 1959 by Stennett-Willson, for Lemington.
It is smoke coloured, with a bluish tinge most evident in the base. The height is 9cm.
I just wondered if anyone could confirm if it is or isn't??
Many thanks!

Thanks for that Tigerchips - I'll have a look. Everything about it appears to be the same, but I've never seen or handled one before. Unfortunately there was only one :( :( .

Ivo, that's great!! Thanks very much :D :D

I've just purchased four of these. Thanks :D
Curious, so these came in multi-coloured sets?
Why do I have three amber one's and one blue one?
-
The literature seems to suggest they were intended to be sold in multicoloured sets. Lesley Jackson lists the colours, named as gold, lilac, steel, ruby, blue and green. I suppose it's possible some retailers split the sets up, or something similar???

Single colour sets have been found in original boxes as well as "harlequin" sets.

The person that owned them must have had two sets. I can relax now thanks. 8)
