green is not uncommon, of course, as body trailing, or for extensions as in this instance, although possibly not for British pieces. This is nothing special quality wise - has a roughly snapped pontil (quite sharp still) - and the body has an almost slightly quilted look to it. Might this have a pontil mark (as opposed to 'from the mould' - to aid the addition of the green extensions, after the main body was formed?? About 230mm tall, with a fair amount of matt wear on the base - cud be anything between 80 and 120 years old. I suspect generally probably eastern European, and not British, and although I have looked through my books, I don't see anything very similar, so if anyone has any good suggestions or ideas, I'd love to hear, and thanks for looking.

Paul, a couple of earlier topics might be of interest:

sadly pictures have gone from both topics, but they were about items similar to yours.

There's also a picture on p. 100 of Victorian Decorative Glass (Gulliver) of a piece with an applied crown-style trim in a similar green, although in that case the loops are pinced inwards and are formed by a smooth trail. Gulliver doesn't have any suggestion as to where it might have been made.
