Any guesses, anyone? :) I've seen the shape before on vases, but never on a light fitting.

Possibly Süssmuth or Peill&Pützler, Germany

What a great lightshade Nic! Fabulous darling! :D :D

To Ivo: The seller guessed Raak, although those two are also possibilities. P&P did a lot of bubbled glass shades, certainly. I have to admit, I'm not very familiar with Süssmuth.
I've just had a look on the Raak website, and they've gone the way of Louis Poulsen, and have moved away from original and attractive lighting and have flocked towards cold industrial lighting. It's a shame.
To Max: It is, rather, isn't it? :D
I'm trying to figure out if there's space enough for it in my house. It screams bathroom to me.

Raak
I'd never heard of them before
Did they only make lighting ?
-
yes lighting only.

I've a few 1960's/70's Raak lights, and they're quite fun and stylish.

A bit of Googling has helped me track down a few more vintage Raak lights with this bubbly glass, so they're quite a strong contender so far!
