Title: Turquoise bubble vase - British?
Post by: Kerrykez on May 05, 2010, 02:03:39 PM
Hi, I am hoping someone will be able to help me out with identifying the origins of this vase.  I quite like it but am unsure if it is old or new and am also wondering if it is British.  It is quite large measuring about 25cm tall.  I am having a few modern Chinese finds at the moment which are a bit disappointing so do need to improve my knowledge somewhat!! Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.  Whilst asking, I have posted another vase in the Murano section but have had no replies.  Perhaps it isn't Murano?  Any ideas - it is titled Twisted two coloured globe shape vase.  Again any help would be gratefully accepted.

Hiya, I think I saw one of these a while back described as Italian/Empoli, but I forget where now...

Hi Wayne, I will have a look on google and check out Empoli as I haven't heard of it before.  Thanks for taking the time to reply.   What did you think of my other piece of glass under Murano, did you take a look at it.   I have stacks of glass but it is allsorts and half of it I haven't identified, just pick it up cheaply when I see it.  Thanks again.   Kerry. :)
