I'm afraid your image of the marks is completely out of focus.
A tiny touch of talcum powder (failing that, flour) dusted into the mark, then photographed against a dark background helps to make it clear.
Have you got an ultra close-up function on your camera?
It looks a bit like Orrefors to me, but that's not really my area!

Hi, it is sometimes as difficult to photograph the base signatures as it is to decipher it here is a Per Lutken sig on an Holmegaard piece which shows with a bit of practice it can be done.
Next time just put Oops! forgot to mention etc. if you want to add something, apparently you can only edit/modify your comments for a short while after posting.

Chris — "tiny"links can disappear, so here's the permanent link to the topic you are citing:

  • or, in a more reader friendly form:
  • Holmegaard Per Lutken bowl with extra engraved name (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,26181.0.html)

Being a bit of a 'Luddite' who still uses paper planes at work I will have a go Bernard Lol

the best I can do, it all looks rather complicated to me, the reason I started using TinyUrl was to cut down on the long untidy links, don't think this is going to be easy.

This was made by Hadeland, Norway.

Could the signature read WJ ?
