Hi Anne.
I read it as  "trade mark" with these two words separated by a  symbol which to me looks like a "s" which is vertically intersected by a capital t, they are both sitting inside a capital u and all three inside a circle..
cheers

Having just posted more photos of that  other green clock  (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,22610.0.html) and looking at

Japan Uranglass 6th Exhibition pictures  (http://uranglass.gooside.com/UG6sibuya/UG6sibuyaEng.htm) again: is yours # 4 Toyo perhaps?

It's interesting that, in the other Clock thread, Frank has said the clock mechanism seems to date from 1930s to 50s. The face on this blue glass example is slightly different from the green glass one and it has no "Trade Mark" wording on the face. But they both have a 1930s look to them. As do the glass surrounds, even though the colours are not what I would associate with that period.

The clock faces and the rounded metal surround, as well as the mechanism that Pamela showed, all seem to be in very good condition.

Looks to me like fully modern work in a version of a 1930s style.

I bet clocks at least are original, seeing them that clean inside is not unusual...

The TSU could be Tiffin US Glass Co.  They had some variations on that style of mark but cannot find that one.
