Good evening
I have been trying to locate the age maker etc of this lovely decorative item. I assume it is a perfume bottle but maybe a bit large for that I am not sure. The stopper has 10 outer peaks and the central higher peak which is faceted. Working down is a multi faceted neck and beaded collar. Further down are the scrolls on a fine orange peel background with the odd bead between. The waist has a lovely barley twist with hobnail pattern below. To finish this off is the ground scalloped edge base with star and small circle centre. I hope I have described this well.
I am banging my head against a brick wall. Fenton keeps jumping into my head but I know thats because I am just associating the hobnail. I did buy this in France but from a British brocanteur. Just to add this is approx 11-11.5cm tall without the stopper.
Hoping to pin this down
Margi
