Title: Red and Orange Candle Holder
Post by: Madam Medusa on May 17, 2010, 05:47:10 PM
Recently, I was browsing around a car boot and came past this beautiful candle holder. It's 20cm tall and the stand is 8cm wide. The opening of the holder is 5.5cm wide. The stand has some rather small bubbles which may not be visible on the pictures. I have researched but unable to identify this. I have been told could be Murano but not convinced. Could anybody tell me who the maker is and roughly the probable year it was made. Thanks  ;D

Patience please!!! My guess would be modern and Chinese or Romanian, quality doesn't look good enough for Polish

Researched Chinese and Romanian Candles.  No joy! :-[  "quality does not look good enough for polish".  I am not sure what you mean.

Polish, as in Poland, not polish. Polish glass is generally pretty good quality and more balanced (better proportioned).
