5.5 inches high,heavy for it's size,no marks,4 piece mould,vitroporcelain ?

Seems very heavy for just glass and feels like those Sowerby baskets etc...but you may be right,it's colour is slightly more white,if you know what I mean,so milk glass it could well be,you'd think after 17 years I'd know the difference by now :-[

I would look at America, Fenton or something similar.

That's more likely than Fenton. The Fenton ones have rounded knobbles.
