I have this vase red in colour encased in clear with clear prunts from about halfway down. The top has 4 lobes the opposites been taller but of equal height compared to the other side. Quite heavy but not overly so. The base is flat and highly polished but only showing minimal wear.
The closest I have got to is Skrdlovice am I close or miles off?
TIA

I have one of these vases - can I bump this please to see if there is any more input as to the maker?
Thank you :sun:

I also had one: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,40623.0.html
But I decided it was just too disturbing to keep and set it out by the communal dumpster/skip in hopes that someone would give it a more appreciative home.(http://serve.mysmiley.net/sad/sad0008.gif) (http://www.mysmiley.net/free-sign-smileys.php)

:24: I'm not surprised. The base on mine is shiny polished flat.
Do we think Chinese though or modern ?..or do we just not care really ;D

My vase had a rather greasy-looking base. Everytime I flipped it over to look, I had to fight the urge to spit on it and give it a buff. Very unladylike behavior.
Still, it would be interesting to know something about it. :usd: Let's wait and see if someone recognises it, or if one pops up with a label. :)
