Hello all
I would just like to share with you this awesome dish, Its Uranium made by Walther just over a foot wide and 3ins tall from around 1930s it is stunning and glows so well I think it may give me radiation poisoning lol, As to the pattern that is still to be discovered yet.
The true reason for this post though is to find out as much about this second dish as possible. The size is 7 3/4 inches across and 2 inches tall. The glass is uranium although it does not glow very bright at all it is frosted so maybe this is why the pattern reminds me of ice cream if any of you have any pointers PLEASE LET ME KNOW
Thanks Steve

Well I am having problems this morning, I will let you have the pictures now
-
very choice pieces Steve, congratulations - you seem to have access to some good boot sales - I also like the oak table on which they are sitting :) But sorry that I am not more helpful re the glass.
-
talking of oak made me forget to ask whether in fact you had trawled through Pamela's sites to help identify your pieces - always a first stop for me when I have these sort of things.

Hi Steve, I think your first one is Walther SIGRID as shown in Pamela's museum here:
http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/schalen/00304.html
The second one looks like a flower or float bowl which should have a centrepiece... again you might find a match on Pamela's site.

Thank you Anne and Paul

Well I have news, The "ice cream " bowl as I have christened it is on Black-Poppy. They have one in pink stood on a black plinth with a Lady sat on a log frog, unknown maker possibly czech.
