When I first saw this I instantly thought of hospodka. Am I on the right or wrong line?

This piece does not look Czech/Czechoslovakian to me. The bottom is not flat.

Margi I don't know if it might be, but have you searched for Chalet glass on here? they did make similar items if I recall and someone posted a fantastic link to Chalet glass or about them.

Thanks M I hadn't looked on here because when I typed in Chalet in the search box it didn't throw anything back. However, I did look at lots of other images of Chalet and whilst there is similarities they all appeared to have a flat base. Mine rest on the four lobes but there is a small flat area on one of the lobes to balance it back out. I thought I found a mark but it was a little crease very minute. I saw a similar but also very different if that makes sense on Mark Hills blogspot

If you do a search on here for Chalet, you are likely to find several message threads. I believe it was Antique Rose that posted the site.

Definitely not Chalet. Michel Blais has a site with Chalet on it. He has a huge collection of Chalet and has just opened a new gallery in Vancouver, BC. Some of the pieces he has are Czech so be careful. The other links are below.
