No idea on the signature. I have seen it somewhere, but I can't remember. The vessel looks like it could be Romanian.

thanks for taking time to look, all I know about the item, that it was purchased at Miami Basel Art Show some time ago

The finish reminds me of Israeli glass, but the applications remind me of Romanian. I did some searching and found some similar things, but nothing exact and nothing signed. We are going to have to teach glass people to write legibly!

I think it's Vadan - full name Ioan Tubi Vadan - who just signs his work 'Vadan' (see attached pic.)  He works particularly with glass and metal combined.  I have a vase by him which was identified some years ago on this board and the signature looks very similar to me.  So yes, it would be Romanian.
