Measurements: 25.5 cm high, 9 cm wide at the rim and 6.5 at the base. It weighs about 1400 grams.
The label looks a bit like the Novy Bor label in Mark Hill's book, but in dark blue and silver. Any more info on when and where this label was used?
I guess it's cut crystal, I like the design and if we can identify more about where/when/maker, I'd be happy.

Generaly it is not the best way to follow labels, it will not help us too much in identifiing factory, date and never designer.

Thanks so much, Jindrich. With you around, I guess I don't need that many labels, and I certainly hope to learn much from you so I can start identifying by other means. And it's great that my vase is probably by Pravec. I like what I've seen of his not-too-ornate cut glass designs. Hope I can find a few more.
I might have another vase in my collection that would fit those ideas of relatively simple cutting. I've attached it to check if my way of thinking fits - can you see whether this could be by the same maker/factory? If not, I can make it into a seperate post.
I've tried to find out more about Josef Pravec - it seems he was active a long time, do you know if he mostly worked for Podebrady, or that he has worked for other factories as well?
The reason I still want to know about labels as much as possible is that for a beginner like me, sometimes they do narrow down the search a bit, if they were mostly used in a certain period (even if that was a 20 year stretch), and mostly in a certain area or by a certain factory. Do you know whether this particular label was used by more factories than Podebrady? And I guess the time period could be anywhere from 1950 to 1993?
