I know it's not been on very long but I seem to have a knack for finding glass with green bits in like these previous posts, also with no attribution yet

We've a few unidentified pieces in green / splodgy finishes... here are just a couple of them:

Hi Keith,
The finish of your vase looks very similar to one I have. Mine was made in Spain and I believe it is recycled glass. The finish is not permanent, and will rub off eventually. I am not saying definitely that yours is the same but it would be something to eliminate.

Thanks for the replies,
Anne;those seem to be 'bubble' based were as mine are flecks of green glass, although not sure about the second one,
Pat;definite not surface decoration and nothing like any recycled glass I've ever seen but thanks to both of you for looking ;D
Keith.

The top one is an S&W/Royal Brierley shape: D107

Thanks Christine, got to ask where you get the info' from,if it's 'the Crystal Years...etc...,I've just ordered a copy,ta again.

Skelcher, Big Book of Vaseline Glass

Ta ever so ;D

Perhaps you should ignore that suggestion because I've just realised why I didn't make it last time. The RB pieces have a nice pontil mark, not a moulded base.

Ah well, thanks for looking, back to the search,
Keith.
