Title: 1 posy bowl and 1 dish id please
Post by: uraniumsteve on May 29, 2010, 06:09:50 PM
Hello y,all

Well just to let you know I dont just come running to here I have identified 11 of the 14 pieces I bought last week and almost all by myself, so I should not feel guilty coming here with yet another id request. I have been everywhere looking for these items all to no avail so has anyone got a clue. The posy bowl I think is Bagley but thats it I dont know the design etc. The dish has left me baffled, originally I thought Davidson but now am not so sure. The size of the posy bowl is 7 by 2.5 in and the bowl is 9.5 by 2 ins
Thanks Steve

The posy is Bagley Elf, pattern no 3010. The bowl is Sowerby, don't know the pattern number.

Please post one item in a thread, as it can get very confusing.

Thanks Christine

I have been trying to find out the pattern number as yet unsuccessfully, although I have found out it is 1930 or earlier as it has the peacock stamped on it.You will probably interested to know the posy bowl is uranium.
L8trs as the kids say.

That design (and probably the particular mould used) is much older than 1930s, but the period is probably not far off for the uranium (I could see it was uranium BTW) version. I will look at my CDs later, if I can find them!
