Title: CHUNKY GREEN VASE - ID = Rosice 1292
Post by: Rosie1 on June 08, 2010, 03:01:41 PM
Hi all,

Any ideas on id of this one please?  It's very chunky and looks to me as though it has been blown into a mould as it has what looks like 3 seam lines spaced equally around it. Pontil is indented as per picture.

Size is 8.1/4" high.

Regards,
Rosie

This is a pressed item made in a three-part mould. The pontil mark, if it could be called such, is not the indented bit. It is the ground rim.

Sklo Union, Rosice 1292, late 50ties or 60ties, designer for the meantime unknown.
I have it in two heights 200 and 120 mm.
