Brought these bottles a few weeks ago along with other items and did not realise that they were covered in gold speckles and streaks. I was told they come as a pair?. About 2/3rds down around each bottle are leaves that stands prominent from the bottle itself. The leaves which are part of the glass bottle are about 5cm to 6cm in height. I tried to capture this with my camera but found it difficult to obtain a good image. The bottle is 20cm tall and 9cm squared with curved corners. There is a lightly indent round shape at the base of the bottle slightly textured too 6cm dia. Carried out a thorough search but have not been successful in finding out much about these pair. I looked through my friends 20th Century Glass by Judith Miller and found a similar shape bottle(Pezzo Unico di Prova vase), however, the pattern design is different and there is no stopper. My only lead at the moment is Barovier & Toso, as they used gold and leaves in their pieces. Could anybody tell me anything about these pair and roughly the probable year it was made. Thanks ::)

I have been looking through more of the books but found no matches. This piece is so unusual :-\

:fc: Merry Christmas Everybody! I've brought this back to your attention as I am still searching for a conformation of these bottles being Murano. Thanks Again. :sg:

Seems the technique is rolled-in shards of yellow and aventurine and then mould blown - I cannot see any gold leaf. Seen the colour I would sooner look at Czechoslovakia (Harrach?) or France (Legras) for a match.

Happy New Year to you all!
Sorry I haven't been able to reply to your last message as I have been away on business. I have managed to take higher definition images and I hope these will help with identification. :rah:
