Title: How early is 'early'?

In the case of this paperweight (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574631383&toolid=10001&campid=5336261829&customid=&icep_item=290443918598&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg), I think early may mean before the maker Fu-chang Wang had his morning break, rather than 19th or even 20th century ...

I go along with the 'continental' bit of the description. I'm sure it was made on a continent.

Good one, Alan.  At least the seller doesn't say it's vintage Murano, a work of art from the master's hands!

I'm wondering if it enjoyed the caning.  :24: And quite how I send it back by email if I'm unhappy.   :24: :24:
