Title: Mt. Washington vase??

Hi folks,

I came across this vase on EBAY :

The Seller says it's made of glass but looking at the bottom it looks like pottery or ceramic (especially with the incised numbers...)

It looks like pottery to me too Blair... and I don't know how glass can have incised numbers but let's see what others think.

I'd certainly say its pottery/ceramic not glass. Besides 75% of the eBay Mt. Washington isn't even close to Mt. Washington, Mt. Washington, Moser & Lalique lead eBay's key word spamming operatives. Ken

I agree, ceramic. A mould blown piece wouldn't have that foot either.

I think the seller is unsure as well.  The item is listed in glass AND pottery categories and the description does not say anything at all about the material.

I told the seller about this thread and I guess they updated their listing and removed references to Mt. Washington glass...
