Always a temptation to think these 'Midnight' pieces are FT, but can't see it in Eve Thrower and Mark Hill's book. 250mm tall (including the stopper - which is nicely ground/bevelled and polished like the base). The body is 'waisted' insofar as both sides are symmetrically concave, although this is not easy to capture on the camera. Grateful if anyone has any ideas, and thanks for looking. :)

quite likely not then. How about Holmegaard..... they certainly did offer decanters with this style of 'pinched' in body, and they offered a stopper with this dimple on both sides - plus they made a midnight colour, I believe.
