Title: Could someone help me identify this piece of French Art glass

Hi!
Just wondered if someone could help me identify the maker of this piece of glasss.  The base reads ART ? France  and is etched in a diamond shape.

Any pointers would be greatly received.

Welcome to the board. I suspect it says Arte Vannes, though your pictures are way too low resolution and big to see. Just resize a high resolution picture so that that longest dimension is about 700 pixels and the size should be about right.

Mark (http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-11782) and a different bird from the same maker.

Any ideas on which birds they may represent?
