Title: dartington frank thrower design ? conformation required thanks
Post by: kieran on July 05, 2010, 11:21:58 PM
Hi, picked these up this morning
they remind me of designs by frank thrower
been searching all day but cant find any reference to them
they are 9 1/2 ,  8 1/4 , & 6 3/4 inches in height
they are hollow so could be candle holders or vases
any thoughts, cheers

Not Frank Thrower for Dartington and too be honest they look more like soda glass than lead crystal.

Pinched at the top like that makes me think they are candle holders. Can't find them in my Dartington book (First Twenty Years - an excellent buy) so suspect they were not designed by Frank Thrower.
