I couldn't find this particular colourway in this shape in Jindrich's catalogues, but I think it is probably 1999 as there are others shapes that appear to be these colours. This is a particularly gorgeous colour combination I think :) and it is pretty big 19cm wide by 18.5cm high.

I have a similar shaped one in ochre and green. I sort of have given up to trying to date Chribska... are they still being made today in these same shapes? And is there any way to tell which colours were made when?

The catalogues do show different colourways at different times as you go through them, but I agree trying to work out when is very difficult ;D As I read it, the more 'gaudy' colours are more recent :-\ and the earlier colours tended to be more 'sophicated' or subdued in the palette. But I am totally open to correction on this. Having said all that, I have just posted a bowl in another thread which is in a more recent catalogue and the colours are orange and blue but not at all gaudy in my opinion. But then I like lime green cased glass so possibly not the right person to comment on colour :thud:

Chribska is not producing any glass at this time, it closed down.

(I think blue and orange are simply revolting together, there ought to be laws against it! Just a personal thing. Mostly, I adore bright clashing colours. >:D )
Recently I acquired a Chribska vase, slightly similar in shape, but not batwing - it has a more petal-like but flat top bit, with 6 indents.
I think I managed to discover it's dated around '99, from Jindrich's wonderful reference catalogues, but the colours, I would say, are muted - cobalt blue top and teal blue bottom. :)

But what about my verdala bowl then? ;D that's a lovely orange and blue :sun: I love orange turquoise and lime green together.

That's RED and blue. Twice over! (you colour-blind :bat: )
And I love it.
(just teasing - colour is subjective - you can never, ever experience anybody else's experience of colour - but women percieve more colours than men do)

;D The Verdala picks up whichever is closest red or orange and appears as such so is a great piece. This one is definitely orange but a very beautiful colour palette I think with the blue.
