Any ideas on this please.
It's about 40mm high and 95 wide. The car-booter said it was Dartington but I presume that's not right?

Oh, VERY nice! Sorry that I can't help with ID though :-\

Pretty bowl! I have a dartington studio piece where the pontil mark has the blow pipes mark of Dartington on it. However I also have another piece where I was told it was Dartington by the seller and that has no mark. I have been thinking my other piece is perhaps Teign Valley glass (similar area, seller confused?). Dartington did do a range of studio pieces for a few years so it may be I guess?
Perhaps write to them and ask directly. I believe they are very helpful in responding ( note to self - write to Dartington).

Thanks Anik & Flying free. I didn't realise Dartington did studio pieces like this! what time period was that?
Just to add on this one that the rim has quite a pronounced lip on it where it meet the body of the bowl - not sure if that's too evident in the picture.

Looks like a folded rim to me – not easy
Teign Valley Glass is usually signed, I think. This also looks rather sophisticated for TVG

That would describe it. So many terms to learn and then forget again!
