Title: "Bohemian Moser ... Paperweight SIGNED"
Post by: Wuff on July 17, 2010, 06:01:07 PM
Seller seems to identify about any paperweight as Bohemian Moser (http://shop.ebay.ch/number1indeals/m.html?_nkw=paperweight&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=0&bkBtn=&_trksid=p3911.m270.l1313) - although clearly signed e.g. "Roland R. Correia" or "MSH". When I pointed this out, the response was "I did not know this was not Moser. The style looks like Moser glass." - which was not published on ebay, of course.

Hi Wuff

He also says that its hand carved from a rare purple stone !!!!!! :chky: :chky:

Its worth checking out the other paperweights he has on offer - there are some imaginative descriptions
such as "It is in great condition with a small chip on its body. " which means a substantial portion of a facet
is missing !!

Best regards

Derek

Did Moser even do paperweights?

Sometimes I see malachite animals on eBay that are said to be signed by Moser, but the signatures aren't shown. I've wondered if they made these animals. It seems so unlike them. They are the glass of Kings, you know.
