It is 5½ inches tall.

It's definitely sklo (glass) but not Sklo Union. It's Sowerby http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,34721.0.html

Oh wow - thanks Christine - how quaint - a Sklo Union revival, of sorts.  My photos don't do justice to the horrible colour.   :24:
