Hiya, I'm afraid I can't help with ID, but I've come across this design in several colours over the years.  I've included some pics below in hope it helps someone with identification.  I've always thought they were probably Murano, never seen one with a label though unfortunately.

Or maybe Sweden?  They don't seem to be quite the Flygsfors style but maybe worth a look into.

Wayne I like the last one of yours (#4) the best.  Very nice.

It wasn't a comment aimed at you. NINE ID requests in less than an hour is OTT though.

Just been doing a bit of googling, could be Canadian Altaglass [clicky (http://altaglass.ca/index.php?set_albumName=bowls&option=com_gallery&Itemid=30&include=view_album.php&page=1)].

I was also favoring Canada as the source. It looks like something that would be made there.

Hi Wayne, and alfie Dad:

If I can be of any assistance here (being in Canada) but still a Novice here....here is a good link to AltaGlass that shows some vases they made.

I know AltaGlass (one word - see link below) was noted for a lot of splatter-y type like you have in your last picture here.  I too am leaning towards AltaGlass for that one -- and maybe some of the others too.

Hope this helped some.

Here is a post of what I believe to be AltaGlass here with that Splattery look to it:
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,18058.0.html

I think some AltaGlass *may* be brushed off a Chinese sometimes since it seems like more Canadian like to collect it - and does not (maybe) that a bigger audience past North America, I think, IMHO

When you go to antiques shows here - AltaGlass is very pricey.  This Fish of mine is identifed as AltaGlass too.  At antiques shows here smaller AltaGlass Fish like mine have an asking price of $145.00.  Sure, I understand it is a show, and all goes by supply and demand -- but at show AltaGlass does have some $$ behind it.  Sure, nothing like Fratelli Toso (in the thousands) but for a small time glass company from years ago in Canada, it might be the dark horse somewhat.

Some pieces I like, so not so much -- but I do have pieces here.   :D

Just an update due to new findings, looks like some of these are actually British, by Davidson, see here:

Fascinating, Wayne! The difference on Alfie's Dad's piece seems to be the opaque splodges.

They don't all have splodges; the blue one doesn't

:huh2: Which blue one, Christine? It was just that none of the Davidson pieces seemed to have the opaque spatter effect that's on the first piece shown here.

Oh, I didn't even spot those opaque patches 1st time I looked, I must have mistaken them for light reflections!  Very odd, haven't seen that before with these!

Oh, I thought they were light reflections too  :-[

The white patches are almost invisible in the first picture. I only saw them in the second one, which shows the base.
