Hello everyone!
I have some photos here of a bowl that my mum bought recently. It is huge 14 inches across.
In a lovely soft frosted amber glass the bowl stands on 3 stylised fish/dolphins and the rim is decorated with seagulls in flight whole the main body of the bowl has a rippled design like water.
I have never ever seen this before and was gobsmacked when I saw it!
there are no makes marks and I was just wondering if anyone had any clues as to its designer/manufacturer please?
thanks in advance!

Hello again
I have taken some clearer photos of mums bowl.
I have noticed similarities of the fish design to Reich candlesticks with the fish? Is it possible this could have been made by S.Reich?
It really is a gorgeous bowl with the fish feet(think possibly flying fish as there looks to be wings) and the stylised seagulls along the edge.
Any info would be greatly received!
Thanks in advance! Nige

Hi there:
Very pretty -- I am sure that someone that know more than me will have an idea -- but I will try look around some too.

Hi
Just an update on this bowl.
I have just been looking through a pdf file of the Reich catalogues and on page 76 of the 1934 section at the bottom of the page is this bowl-number 9021- next to the elves/boys bowl
I had an inkling it was Reich as the fish were so much like the Reich fish candlesticks I have seen in the past.
Incidently in the same catalogues for Reich can someone identify (if they have the pdf file of Reich) on page 73 the candlestick that is numbered 8971? Is it a female form candleholder?
Best wishes Nige
