I assume it is by a good maker. Kralik? My knowledge of this type of glass is miniscule. Who might have made it?

Take a look at this link it may not be in there but may help http://sites.google.com/site/loetzandglass/kralik-1a--id-by-shape

Thank you so much Margi. Looks like lots of reading.

Looks like Kralik, how's the rim finished?see if Craig pops in and see what he says,
Keith.

Thanks for the observation about the rim. I will be careful to add a third photo of unmarked pieces showing the top in future. I normally am attracted by signed pieces of Australian art glass or Scandinavian glass - so what I want is the base and the overall - the rim is irrelevant.

The rim is ground flat and polished. There is a tiny chip (which you can see) on the inside of the rim.

Whoops forgot to add sizes. 150mm high, 70mm diameter opening, 63mm diameter base and c.110mm diameter at the widest point.

With a flat cut top I'd say Kralik, had it been 'wavy' or fluted, twisted etc.. It may have been Pallme-Konig

Hi there, Also Kralik.... I had not seen this one...... Can I use these pics also?

Be my guest again Craig. Thanks for your attributions. Ebay & Auctioneers are so hard to trust. I used to say that auctioneeers had an M.C.D. = "Masters in Creative Description".
