Title: Fiestaware paperweight pattern.

David Encill discusses six known distinctive patterns - and so when I saw this it occurred to me that I might have a seventh.   However, I guess that as these are hand cut there are going to be minor deviations from the standard designs.   This one is noticeably different, but probably just a variation on one of the existing weights.    Grateful for anyone's opinion and thanks for looking.

thank you Anne.      I do have the book, so have seen pictures of all six, and would agree with you that mine does come closest to the the pattern you have indicated - which was my thinking as well.     I wasn't sure whether in fact every one (within each individual design) would be identical, or not.     Guess there are probably a number of minor differences for some of the patterns, and therefore I haven't found a seventh unknown design. ;D    This is the first one I have found.

They were hand-cut so there will be subtle differences between the weights, giving it the appearance if a slightly different pattern.

David, I have one of these, boxed with the Gold Chance Fiesta label on the box. In it, the 6 points of the star-shape reach the inside rim under the weight, so there are no roundish space-y bits on the outside. I had it with me at the Chance Exhibition you put on in Dulwich - did you not see it then? Or did it get lost and forgotten and buried under everything else that was there?

Hmm, can't say I saw it at Dulwich - but then again, Denis organised the display for 27 shelves and there were only 18, so plenty of items didn't get displayed!

I'll mail you privately about this 'weight.

I think Christine's "seventh" one does resemble the one top-left in the promotion card. The edges are slightly different, but the hand-cutting might have been responsible for the different appearance. Hard to say without comparing it.

No it was definitely different because I had the top left one as well.
