Hello
I currently have this down as Davidson, but have been (sort of) informed that it might not be, as it is not stamped with a registration number.
Can anyone tell me whether this means that it is definitely not Davidson? And, for a bonus, can anyone name who it may have been made by, and what sort of year?
Thanks in advance,
Stuart.

Not all Davidson is. I only have one out of four (Davidson Pearline) marked. Can't lay my hands on an ID ATM

Thanks Christine. I feel very strongly that it is Davidson, as the colour and feel is so "right" (for want of a better word).
When all is said and done, I think this jug would be rather too small to fit a reg number on without it looking a bit much.

I can't find it. I used to have a really good site for Pearline, but I seem to have lost it or it's gone. It could be Greener of course.

Ok, thanks - I'll add the info to the listing.

hello Stuart - notice that you say the jug is small, but don't give any measurements. May I ask the height please. :)

Hi Paul
It's just 2" tall.
(And that was not meant to rhyme!)
:)
Regards,
Stu.

I say Davidson 100% there nis a small matching sugar bowl that goes with it, I can think of a few other pieces of Davidson pearline that are not marked

It might be worth adding a link to the query which caused Stuart to ask the question... it was raised by Chris Stewart (author: Davidson Glass, a history), who said there were some lookalike copies of the Davidson 643 pattern, hence his heads up:
