Title: Do my eyes deceive me or is this a signature of sorts?

Hi Everyone again.

Not my day! I have another piece of apparent Scandinavian glass and I can't decide if this is a mark or just a very clever series of age scratches. It appears to be a very faint etched mark, EJ or CJ, with possibly a sort of leaf/bean shape mark under that. I have tried and tried to get a better pic but this is the best I can manage today.Any ideas?? Or is a visit to the optician needed?   :rn:

Does not look like a signature or marking to me... They used to be made in Empoli, but in recent years most come out of China.

Thanks Ivo but this is not Chinese. I have several from the same home and all show enough wear to the base to convince me of age. Plus they have a huge Per Lutken collection too:). Maybe I am on the wrong board if these are thought to be Italian?

I would go with chinese as well...the casing looks rough in my opinion...
