As you can see it is a nice large vase with what I think a pleasant Deco feel. Unfortunately I can't seem too get a line from Google on "Diamond Crystal". I am hoping someone can inform me about possible dates and perhaps a designer.

Ross, what is the word in the middle of the label please? I can't make it out on the photo...

A very nice and unusual vase, it looks possibly to be related to this one:

The style looks right for around 1930, the pattern seems to be a pressed design mimicking the chunky acid cut back pieces made by Daum around that time. No idea who Diamond crystal are though...

Anne, the small word in the middle is "Bohemia".
By the way this has recently been on Australian Ebay - a Google search turned it up. The label is exactly the same as mine.

The glassblower ashtray is by Feigl & Morawetz, Libochovice. I remember Marcus posting his example some time ago http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,14999.0.html. I think it's likely that Diamond Crystal are an importer/ wholesaler.

I might look at Stozle. Wrinkly bits (Note, not Matthey Crinkles) and poky out bits seem to things they did.

Ross, if you haven't done so already, could you just clear with the owner of the photograph that it's okay to use it here? Otherwise we'll have to delete it.
-
Sorry about that Cathy but the advertising item was sold so I can't trace the new owner. Please delete the photo.
Thanks to all who have responded. The current "Diamond Crystal" is based in Teheran, Iran - but I read recently that several Bohemian glass companies had beeen bought by Iranians so maybe this is new instar of the older company. I intend to email them and If I get a positive response I will post to that effect.

Thanks, Ross. It's the photographer (presumably the seller) we have ask permission from, not the new owner of the piece.

What's the base like? only I have a heavy deco' vase, same colour and 'chunky' with a star cut base and lots of wear,Keith.

I have emailed the seller for permission. Photo of base will be forthcoming c. 18 hours from now.
