Title: old murano, old chinese? or not old at all?

I've bought this one on ebay and got it today:

It looks somewhat older than on the pictures. And it seems like it is rather lightweight.
Old murano, old chinese? Any idea?

I am fairly sure you paperweight is Chinese, from the 1930 -1950 period. The design looks very like the Chinese 'perfume bottles' from that period. I would expect it to have a relatively low dome, but I have seen some like this that are a 'typical' paperweight shape.
