hi these were my mothers can anyone tell me anything about them

Welcome to the board.
Size? Base shot (essential)?
Your picture is also very small. What we need is a high resolution picture resized by compressing (not cropping or lowering the resolution) so that the longest dimension is about 700 pixels. See here for help http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6522.0.html

anyone :hi:

Hi Lisha.
Still very difficult to see the base as your camera is focusing on the table cloth.
Give the weight a plain background and try again.

Patience please as well. Just over five hours between your first post and a bump!!!!! No everyone even visits every day. ID's can take years. We had one just this week that took over two years.
-
hi the underneath has slight concave bottom
-
What are these? One item is a spoon, and the other item is a paperweight. :24:
Just kidding with you, The weight is not the kind I collect, but I have my suspicions as to it's origins. I'd guess Chinese, but beyond that I couldn't tell you much.
-
Yes i agree the one on the right is a spoon , WELCOME to the MADHOUSE Lisah
-
I'm pretty sure the paperweight is a Chinese modern one, the butterfly is very typical.

Hi Lisa,
As alexander has said, the butterfly is very typical of fairly modern Chinese work. In fact, I would say that butterflies like that (with very solid looking wings) are only found in Chinese work.
In your first post you said, "... these were my mothers ...". Does that mean you have other paperweights for Id? If so, please start a new message for each one - even if they are all quite similar.
