Title: 14cm crystal Vase, Orrefors? (images resized)

A very heavy cut crystal bud vase measuring 14cm tall. The base is totally flat and clear.

If it has no base markings I would hazard a guess at Mikasa.

Mikasa doesn't make the crystal themselves. They are an importer and reseller (http://www.mikasa.com/serveware-crystal/ABOUT_US,default,pg.html) of Walther-Glas in Bad Dreiburg. (Hat tip to Anne for this info).

Mikasa (Owned by ARC, J.G. Durand Industries) has contracted operations involving numerous factories in foreign countries so its tough to attribute. Before selling out to ARC much of their crystal came from Japan, now it mostly comes from Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, China & Yugoslavia.
