Title: Pinwheel Decanter ??
Post by: antiquerose123 on August 08, 2010, 01:54:52 AM
Hi, is this Pinwheel -- and a Decanter?  Is it missing a stopper, or is this something else that did not have a stopper?

If it is missing a stopper -- that is OK, as still I like it -- I only paid $ 3 for it.  It is about 12 inches tall.

Thanks

I'd say it is a decanter and it is missing its stopper.  With that pinwheel design, I'd go with traditional Polish crystal.  (I've got several pieces/sets of crystal with the pinwheel design -- all are Polish with either a Violetta or Irena label.)

Rose, could you make another picture of the decanter with the complete pinwheel visible?

Thank you, Rose...

100% Polish, Violetta or Irena (both glassworks use this pattern).  Looks like I'll have to find you its matching stopper  :).

Thank you Anik R -- for your confirmation.  LOL...Yup, need a topper for it.  Was not sure if it had one, or not.
