Title: Crystal Vase with inverted pattern - ID = Nachtmann, Germany

Feels and sounds like crystal, has a nice ring sound, it is pressed. Measuers 15cm and no base marks.

Solvbed - I have found that this vase was made by "Nachtmann" of Germany. It is etched on the top flat of the rim. I never thought to look there  ;D

Perhaps it's a candlestick and you've had it upside down?   ;)

You are right Max.  :hiclp:
I think what threw me off is that the rim with the engraved name is not particularly robust, it is cut flat and more prone to chips/nibbles. The other rim is more rounded and heavy and thought, wrongly, it better for standing and use wear.

Hard to tell with candlesticks sometimes...yours would make a decent vase anyway!   :) :)
