Title: Vivid Green Ribbed Bowl with Concave Polished Pontil Mark...ID Help Needed..

Hi All,

Hope someone can help me pin point this one.

Vivid green in colour, Stepping up from the base, the outside of the bottom half of the bowl is ribbed. The top half of the bowl is smooth. The inside of the bowl is completely smooth, none of the ribbing can be felt.

Has a ground concave polished pontil mark to the base. The bowl measures 10 inches in diameter and approx 2.6 inches high. Relatively heavy, just under 900 grams in weight.

All thoughts appreciated.

Probs way off the mark but that really reminds me of that Stevens & Williams vase that was on tv today.

The colour and style and pontil mark reminds me of Stuart Stratford range ?

Thanks Chris & Christine -  Stuart does look like a good place to start, there's quite a few similarities there. I'll take a look at their Stratford range especially.

I'll upload a side profile shot tomorrow, hopefully this will provide a better perspective.

Just came across the below Staurt bowl on ebay, exact same measurements....

appreciate ebay isn't a definitive source these days, however, given the similarities with the pieces in the other threads, the Stuart stratford range looks like a good bet.
