Title: Heavy rectangular amethyst vase - Czech? - ID = Ladena Viznerová

Any ideas what this might be would be much appreciated.  I thought it might be Czech but haven't found a match.  Rectangular form but the corners/vertices have been "scooped" out, so that from the top it looks like a cross.  The base well looks as though it could be Czech.  It measures approx. 5¾" high and is heavy - 1360g.
