Title: Cased, hand painted, yellow, glass bell with twisted loop handle - Old???

I have scoured the net for something similar and so far - no luck. Any ideas on age, maker and/or country of origin please?

Are you sure it's handpainted. Looks like a transfer to me. Look at it through a lens and see if you can see dots.

Hi Christine - I though it was transfer printed originally but then when I look through my loop I could see that it isn't. I can also see brush marks. Maybe lithograph which has been overpainted.
