Title: Enamelled bottle - Legras? Fritz Heckert? Harrach?
Post by: Mac on August 15, 2010, 06:43:00 PM
Greetings all. I was out and about today and found 3 pieces that followed me home. The last piece, pictured here on my blog:
http://bohemianglasscollector.blogspot.com/ has me stumped. All the details are there. Is it a vaniety bottle of some sort?
I thought the enameling was quite nice.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks everyone for looking.

The best I can do so far with this, what I believe to be a quality piece, is come up with possible makers such as, Fritz Heckert, Max Rade, Legras, Riedel, Mont Joye, Harrach.

One collector said “the way the decoration is laid out reminds me of Fritz Heckert”, she also said you can count out Riedel or Legras. Thoughts?

Pics are here on my blog: http://bohemianglasscollector.blogspot.com/ (http://bohemianglasscollector.blogspot.com/)

Thank you.

Mac, can you make your topic subjects a bit more descriptive please? Two reasons: one, it catches the eye of folks who might be able to help with the query, and two, it helps search find them again later as the subject line is heavily weighted for the search script. Ta!

I am still looking for an attribution on this one - I have poured over tons of pictures of Riedel, Lobmyer, Harrach, Heckert, Legras, Max Rade, Mont Joye, Sutterlin and Moser. “Kinda” Moser/Heckert like or Harrach/Lobmyer like…I dunno! Here’s hoping this bump will help. See it here on my blog: http://bohemianglasscollector.blogspot.com/
Thanks.

Didn't you find it in Truitts' as a piece, possibly,by Welz? I'm sure I've already said this  had a very tiring week and it's only Wednesday!

Hey Keith - it is the piece below the yellow piece (on the blog) that I am now trying to figure out. Thank you by the way. Hope your week lightens up for you.
