I found this one in Devon the other week and thought it might be Czech?
However, I then went into a charity shop that same afternoon and found another - in clear -with the words 'reg applied for' scratched underneath. They are slightly different though with the rim of the amber one drooped.
I have not seen these before so wonder if anyone here recognises them?

As Christine has said, these are Jobling. If they're about 6 inches in diamter, the pattern no. is 2595. Two larger sizes, an 7 inch & 10 inch version were also produced, these have different nos. The 'Regn. Appld. For' mark is nice as it shows it to be an early one made before the reg. no. was added to the mould.
The rims can vary a bit, most are slightly turned down, but I personally prefer the flat horizontal versions like the early one below - I've even seen an 8 inch one with a weird wavy up & down rim, I have some pics, but they're not on this computer.

Thanks Mosquito - Mine are the 6" variety and now correctly described thanks to you & Lustrousstone. I spent ages trying to find these on goggle images and now I'm seeing them all over the place!

Sadly no, I don't know exactly when production stopped; it's something I'd like to find out myself. Jobling had certainly stopped making all fancy glass by the early 1960s, but before then I don't know which pieces were still in production. Often it's assumed that much of the Art Glass range wasn't produced post-war, but whether this is true or not I can't say as I haven't found any references for this period - certainly lighting bowls continued to be made as two new designs were registered in 1946 & '47 & can be seen in Baker & Crowe.
