Hello everyone
I aquired this lovely Art Deco centrepiece today. In a lovely soft amber glass, this figure and frog was made by Libochovice.I am guessing that the bowl is original to the figure and frog as it is the exact same shade of amber.I have seen the same set in green so would imagine it's the correct bowl.
Any ideas please?
Best wishes Nige

Nige I have to say that frog combination is one of the finest ones I've ever seen including Cambridge, Walther, etc. Ken

Hi Ken
I know exactly what you mean! the frog is a lovely rock formation and she is so Grecian in style with the waves of her hair.

I was informed by a fellow collector that maybe the correct bowl for this lady aswell as the "sister" lady urn carrier could possibly be a bowl decorated with stylised waves.
This bowl is shown below the lady figures in the Libochovice catalogue page which can be found on Pamelas wonderful website.
Has anyone seen this particular bowl or does anyone own this bowl at all?
I would love to see it in a photo!
Another bowl to keep a look out for!!!

Would it be http://www.black-poppy.co.uk/mc/unknown/greenfish1.jpg (http://www.black-poppy.co.uk/mc/unknown/greenfish1.jpg) this bowl?

Hi
No thats not the bowl.If you go on Pamelas website and log onto glas-musterbuch.de in the orange writing, choose bohmen then log onto the Libochovice 1925-1928 then scroll down to the 6th column and you will see the lady carrying the urn, below it is the bowl I mention.Looks very interesting!

I couldn't tell that was waves on the bowl! That would be neat to find the set.
