21 cm tall, fine quality , green with white inner casing. Just wanting to know the maker/designer and age if possible. Thanks very much. Ta, Mike.

Hi Mike :hi:
If you're unsure of country of origin, could you put your item to be ID'd into 'Glass' rather than any other forum? I'll leave this here for a bit, but I think it might have to be changed over at some point. Glass forum is the catch all for every piece of glass to be ID'd unless you're pretty certain of it's country. Fankoo!!

Thanks Max ...I will in future as I'm always unsure ! ;)

Errr , I now think it might be Bohemian , the glass is thinish and Scandinavians don't really do thin when it come to glass :vkg:. If it is Bohemian then it might be a bit difficult to identify. I'm not having a good day with glass ! ::)

Ok, I'll move this to Glass Mike. :)
I think if this vase has a degree of wear underneath then it's Empoli from Italy and if there's no wear then it's possibly :or: Let's see what other folk think. :)

Thanks Max for moving it !
The finish to this vase is superb. The rim has a bevel to the inner and outer edge. There is no age wear under the foot at all, but internally there is quite a bit of sediment staining to the white internal casing.

I think the rim might rule out Empoli. I would expect a fire polished rim.
