:hi: I just got this today. I am thinking that it might be Czech, or Bohemian.....as a wild, wild guess (????)
It is pretty, and looks retro. I imagine at one time it had some shot glasses to go with it, and a Glass Stopper too (but alas, not with it). It has Gold edging around the top. There are also Gold and White flowers around the side. Any ideas on Maker, age, etc? About 10 inches tall, and 4 inches wide at the widest point. Some very slight wear on the bottom. I also like the Amber color of it too.
I still like it - even if not complete set as it once might have been... :'( TIA

I think you're right Rose. Czech though, not Bohemian (too new). 1960s/70 Borske Sklo would be my guess.
This was lovely till I dropped something on it a took a great chunk out of the rim

This sort of pieces is manufactured in Borske sklo (later Crystalex) since late 50ties. It is imposible to guess the age of piece, I have seen original ones from 50ties in absolutely unused and new condition.
