A nice quality jug slightly odd shape small pontil to base quite similar to some holmgaard ive had in past the smoked colour, It measures 6.5" tall and has a base dia of 4.25" quite weighty nice thing any ideas to its origins??please?

Close in respect of Dartington but it looks like Wedgwood designed by Frank Thrower. (See ebay item number: 150489183636 at the minute).
I have an optic version somewhere in my collection come to think of it.

Close, it is a design by Frank Thrower for Wedgwood Crystal. FJT16, Alexander Water Pitcher, 85cl, made in clear and midnight, in plain and optic glass.
The information is from Dartington Glass, the First Twenty Years.
The design probably dates from 1983 or 1984.
